Mevo Camera Public Access TV x Mevo - East Village Recording Center Practice Session

This video was recorded by Mevo with the band Public Access TV at the East Village Recording Center. The camera was positioned approximately five feet in front of the subjects, mounted on a microphone stand, and connected to the Mevo Boost accessory. Additional lighting was used to enhance the set, with audio captured using external audio sources. The upcoming single is titled Evil Disco off the band's album Never Enough.

1. Mevo Camera: Thanks for the shoutout! We used everything the band typically sets up for sound (mics, amps, soundboard..etc), and just took an XLR to iPhone TRRS adapter, so that we could plug an output into the iPhone. The Mevo automatically syncs the sound with the video, so the rest was easy. Hope that is helpful!!
2. Mevo Camera: @Kristy -- manual editing meaning someone was live editing with the Mevo app. Not post production editing.
3. David Bott: Yes, for Mevo to have this as one of their demo videos, it really should be revealed the ACTUAL setup for the audio setup and editing that was done. I find it hard to think that this was edited live on the Mevo App and the audio is WAY to clean to have been recorded via a single mic and feed into the Mevo. None of the items they list on their site seems to support stereo like this. To take a monitor out of a mixer and convert it to USB using something like the Shure MVi as they recommend, it is mono. So HOW was this done? I ask for I own a Mevo and have been going nuts trying to get a good audio and can not find any way other than a separate recording then put in in post editing production. PLEASE be so kind to share the actual setup used for this if you are using it as a demo showing what Mevo can do. Thank you.
4. FOUNDRY Church - video: I understand the articles. I know the gear. Which setup did you use to record STEREO into the video on the Mevo OR did you guys do this in post-production? All I see on your site for audio signal plug in is MONO.
5. Kristy Oshita: Regarding manual edits, do you mean where someone live controls the camera shots via the mevo app? Or do you mean post production, someone manually edited it with a editing software? Thank you!
6. FOUNDRY Church - video: Hey Mevo crew. Can you explain your setup to record the audio in stereo? I don't see any options on your website to capture in stereo. Or was the video recorded and post-production audio added? I have a mevo and I'm trying to figure out how to do this.

13. Kristy Oshita: When you say external audio sources, do you mean it still went through the mevo app? OR that the audio was recorded via external microphone and post production it was sycned up using an editing software? Thanks!
14. FOUNDRY Church - video: It looks like the only possible stereo option would be if the Zoom mic tranfered stero to the video, but your LEFT and RIGHT isolation is too good for that.

19. Mike M: Hey guys, you win!! You have the best audio of any MEVO video I have seen anywhere on the net (Like the tune too, great job). I know it's been touched on here but it wasn't really clear, how did you get that great audio mix & sound from the MEVO (all videos I've seen from the MEVO the audio out right sucks!!!) I am sure I am asking a question (again) everybody looking to get a MEVO really want the answer to... It's the only thing stopping me from buying one... Help us! Maybe make a short video with a step by step MEVO audio set up... please :) Thanks, Mke
