The Mevo Boost allows you to stream through an ethernet connection or supported USB modem. This video will show you how to connect Mevo Boost to both network connection types. Please note you can still use your existing Wifi setup or Mevo Hotspot connection with Mevo Boost as well.
Find a list of supported USB modems and more support resources at
http://getmevo.com/support- OzzyUN: DO not bother to search "the full list". It is very very short. You MUST be in the USA and use Verizon. Why tell this well-crafted BS to customers?
- Mevo Camera: No you can use your iPhone as your hotspot with or without the Mevo boost. If you want to use your modem's connection, plug an ethernet cord from the modem into the Boost
- Mevo Camera: The 4G LTE stick you see in this video works off cellular data, not wifi. If you’re shooting at a friends place with slow connection, try doing an upload speed test on speedtest.net and making sure your upload speed is at least 5mbps to stream in HD. If WiFi gives you problems, yes connecting via Ethernet straight from the router to the boost should give you the highest possible speed you can achieve in this environment.

- Mevo Camera: Check out our Livestream Studio software for this!
- Anna DeShawn: If you connect an Ethernet or USB hotspot and they go down or the signal drops lower than the LTE network on your phone will the device choose the stronger connection to ensure your stream doesn't go down or loose quality?
- Nataly Trujillo: my question is only mevo is for Iphone???
- Adam Forstadt: I have the boost. Quick question: That 4G Portable modem you plugged in was only 2.5 ghz right? That's not the best option, right? I'm shooting at a friends place and their modem is 2.4ghz which sucks. Should I use ethernet in to her modem, will that be better? I can't switch out her modem. What do you recommend?
- OzzyUN: 01:04 List of supported modems does not exist. The address is WRONG. My question is very simple. How we are, owners of this "wonderbar", stupid and how many of us? I hope that not so many...
- Alex Nguyễn: Hi, I'm from vietnam.
Would you like to answer my question is: how to connect mul-ti mevo cameras for big event for livestream (exa:: music events, exhibition show, meeting conference...)? tks!
- Rolando Ortiz: Do I need a usb modem connected to the mevo boost if I want to use my iphone as a hotspot?
- Felipe Naranjo: my mevo when I connect a wireless network point does not appear the option to connect, or illuminate me lights that say connected that can be?
