It's the Bus Minister's birthday and the Guide Dogs Campaigns Team have a very special card to give to him to remind him of our Talking Buses Campaign. Luckily our very own Campaign Hound is on hand to help deliver it in time for the big day!
The Talking Buses campaign seeks to make audio and visual information -- including audible announcements of the current stop, next stop and final destination -- available on board all UK bus and coach services. This will enable blind and partially-sighted people to use buses with confidence, and improve the experience of bus travel for all passengers.
